Annual intake of 100 students for the paramedical course, affiliated to the Calicut University. The Clinical depts., Medicine, Paediatrics Medicine, Cardiology, Infectious diseases, Neurology, Forensic Medicine, Psychiatry, Radiotherapy, D & V and Chest Diseases is functioning. All other clinical departments are functioning at Medical College, Thrissur non-clinical departments Anatomy, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, Microbiology, Physiology, Pathology, Pharmacology are functioning in MG Kavu. The College was granted permanent recognition by IMC in 1991 and WHO in 1993.
